Michelle Zoltan-Garrovillas, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Capital Region Family Medicine. She provides care to patients of all ages and has clinical interests in women’s health, heart health, gastrointestinal health, and dysautonomia.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from State College of Florida and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Syracuse University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Florida State University. Her background in public health sparked further interest in disease prevention, health promotion, and helping patients make informed health decisions.
When caring for patients, Michelle believes one of the most important things she can do is listen. She is passionate about building a relationship with each patient, supporting them in making healthy changes, and keeping up with recommended screenings to achieve optimal health.
After spending eight years in Florida pursuing her nursing education and career, Michelle relocated back to New York to be closer to family. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, finding good gluten free food spots, and paddleboarding with her dogs, Harley and Rupert.
