Lauren Stealey is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. She earned her Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practitioner, and Bachelor of Science in nursing from Utica University in Utica, NY. Before that, she received her associate’s degree in nursing from Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Troy, NY. Lauren also holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from SUNY Albany in Albany, NY. She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical interests include women’s health, disease prevention, and holistic, patient-centered care.
A lifelong Capital Region resident, Lauren grew up in Guilderland, NY, and has worked in several communities across the area. Her years in critical care and as an elementary school nurse shaped her belief in the power of preventative and collaborative healthcare. She finds the greatest satisfaction in helping patients navigate a complex healthcare system and achieve their individual health goals. Lauren believes that listening and communication are key to quality care. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients and creating a trusting, open environment where all patients feel heard and supported.
Outside of medicine, Lauren enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog, Daisy.
